A free software is a bit of computer code that can be used while not restriction simply by the original users or by anybody. This can be made by copying the program or adjusting it, and sharing that in various methods.

The software freedom movement was started in the 1980s by Richard Stallman, who was concerned that proprietary (nonfree) software constituted a form of oppression for its users and a violation of their moral rights. He created a set of four freedoms just for software being considered free:

1 . The freedom to alter the software.

This can be a most basic for the freedoms, and it is the one that constitutes a free course useful to people. It is also the freedom that allows several users to talk about their modified edition with each other plus the community at large.

2 . The freedom to study the program and know the way it works, to enable them to make changes to it to match their own intentions.

This flexibility is the one that the majority of people best maintenance management software think of when they hear the word “free”. It is the liberty to enhance with the method, so that it does what you want this to do or stop undertaking anything you rarely like.

four. The freedom to distribute copies of your customized versions to others, so that the community at large can usually benefit from your improvements.

This freedom is the most important of this freedoms, and it is the freedom that produces a free program useful to the original users and to anybody. It is the liberty that allows a team of users (or specific companies) to produce true value added versions within the software, which often can serve the needs of a specific subset for the community.
